# Overview

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is a central element of managing your projects within Exoway. 

RBAC revolves around three key components: 

* users
* scope
* roles

It offers you the ability to finely restrict user privileges regarding access to a project's components (blueprint, environments). 

With RBAC, you have the capability to maintain a secure and organized system that meets your unique requirements in your project.
